She studied French Philology and Cultural Studies at the Free University of Berlin and Humboldt University Berlin.
During her studies, she worked as an assistant to the head of the production department at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb), and later as a freelance editor for the Co-Production Department at ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG.
Since 2002, she has been working at the German Federal Film Board (FFA) as a funding consultant, where she is currently in charge of international co-productions.
