Mama Fox catches a hare as the Christmas roast for her children. But the hare, with a seductive French accent, persuades Mama Fox not to kill him. The fox children are playing and climb up on an electricity mast, but when the transmission cable breaks, Mama Fox is suddenly in terrible danger, for the cable is heading straight for her. At first the hare plans to sneak off, but when he spots the danger, he leaps in to avert a disaster.
