After studying History, Political Science, and Modern German Literature at Humboldt University in Berlin, followed by a Master’s degree in History at the University of Edinburgh, Amelie Kienlin began her career at Sperl Film and Tangramfilm.
Before joining the film distributor Wild Bunch Germany GmbH in 2011 as Head of Co-Production and Acquisition, she was Head of Programme Acquisition at Telepool, where she was responsible for international distribution in both cinema and television.
In 2014, she joined Red Arrow Studios in London. Most recently, she was SVP Scripted Acquisition and Co-Production, overseeing the development, co-production, international financing, and acquisition of series for global distribution.
Since June 2018, Amelie Kienlin has been working as a producer at Amusement Park Film, with a focus on television and serial content. Most recently, she produced the series Munich Games, a co-production with Sky and CBS, which had its world premiere at the Munich Film Festival in 2022. For her work on the series, she was awarded the DAfFNE 2023 for Best Producer.
