Young Matthias is on a road trip with his father. They don’t talk much, both engrossed in their own thing — the boy in his favorite video game, the dad in his memories of things passed. They drive from place to place with seemingly no plan in mind, the father anxiously squeezing the wheel. Then at a lunch break, the connection sparks between them when the dad suddenly asks his son to share the game with him and shows him that he still “got it”. But that connection is about to stand to a test when the true reason for this road trip is revealed.
