Young model Tristan (Enzo Brumm) lives in a run-down flat with his pug and only friend Jürgen. Day in, day out, they sit together in a small inflatable pool and watch the same advertising clip over and over again, because Tristan dreams of becoming the perfect advertising icon for the water brand ‘EAU’. When he meets an unscrupulous agent (Susanne Häusler) who recognises his potential, it is clear: this is his only chance! The agent let’s Tristan understand that there is only one path to success: the loss of all emotions. Only then can he become a mirror for consumers, silent and clear as water. For Tristan, no price is too high to fulfil his dream of success – and he will sacrifice everything to become the face of the next advertising clip.
