An 11-year-old boy, is preparing for his school's end-of-year show. Obsessed by the fear of forgetting his lines, he repeats them over and over to reassure himself. Under the influence of stage fright, he stains his costume without realizing it. Panic-stricken, he flees the theater in search of water. But summer is relentless: the fountain in the park runs dry, leading him further and further away, until he loses himself. Little by little, his reality becomes blurred. The mysterious appearance of a peacock guides him to a lake. In the reflection of the water, his double speaks to him, restoring his confidence. Transformed, So returns to the theater and confidently declaims his monologue.
