Lena has built a life that is as perfect as her silk blouses, but a few days before her 40th birthday, her long-term partner Stefan decides to leave her for someone else. On her birthday, Stefan is noticeably absent despite his promise. The guests begin to wonder, Lena evades the question. Then the truth comes to light. The looks change. People start to leave. Lena realises in an instant that she was never really part of the circle of friends she thought she belonged to. She refuses to let go and, in a moment of madness, locks the doors. The elegant party turns into a surreal gathering behind closed doors. The guests take off their masks, while Lena clings to what she has left: the illusion that she still has something to lose.
